Playhouse on the Square is Memphis’ resident professional theatre company servicing the entire Mid-South. We offer 15 performances a year on our three stages: Playhouse on the Square, The Circuit Playhouse, and TheatreWorks@TheSquare. Throughout the year we serve a broad community representing every age, race, gender, orientation, and socio-economic family. Our mission is to produce a challenging and diverse repertoire of theatrical work that speaks to the intelligence, the soul, and the imagination of the Memphis community.
