Circle Network to Air Music-Packed Program Across 100+ American Affiliates and

On Demand; Show to Highlight Performances, Speeches & The City of Memphis

Memphis, TN… This Thursday evening, March 31, 2022, at 7:00 CST, a one-hour “Memphis Music Hall of Fame 10th Anniversary Celebration” broadcast is scheduled to air nationally via Circle Network. The program will celebrate the Hall of Fame and its world-changing inductees, as well as Memphis, the “Home of Blues, Soul and Rock ‘n’ Roll,” and the musical state of Tennessee. Circle Network’s national reach of over 100 affiliates across 39 states has the potential of promoting the Memphis Music Hall of Fame and Memphis music to millions of households across the U.S., and millions more through worldwide streaming.

The show features a great selection of musical performances, star-studded award presentations and memorable acceptance speeches from the Hall’s past ten years… including clips featuring Keith Richards, Justin Timberlake, John Prine, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Blackwood Brothers, Sam Moore, Billy Gibbons, Steve Cropper, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Dan Penn, Charlie Musselwhite and many more. Markova Reed serves as the show’s host, with Chris Steinmetz reporting from sites around the city including Central Station, world-famous Beale Street, and overlooking the Mississippi River in downtown Memphis. The program was produced by Spotlight Productions of Memphis, working with staff of the Memphis Music Hall of Fame and the Memphis Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum, which administers the annual Induction Ceremony. The production was generously supported by Memphis Tourism, the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development, and the Downtown Memphis Commission.

“It’s essentially a one-hour TV commercial promoting the City of Memphis and our city’s roster of musicians who shook the planet and placed our city on the world map,” said John Doyle, Memphis Rock ‘n’ Soul and Memphis Music Hall of Fame Executive Director. “We are so grateful to Memphis Tourism, tnvacation.com, and the Downtown Memphis Commission for making it possible, to Spotlight Productions for having the creative vision for what the show needed to be, and foremost to Circle Network for believing in and sharing the message of Memphis music around the globe.”

“We are excited to bring the rich musical heritage from Memphis to our Circle audience,” said Evan Haiman, SVP of Content for Circle Network. “From the Grand Ole Opry to the Farm Aid broadcasts, this partnership reinforces Circle’s commitment to sharing the stories, amazing performances and events within the music industry.”

The Memphis Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum launched the Memphis Music Hall of Fame in 2012. A Memphis Music Hall of Fame Museum opened in 2015 at Second Street and Beale Street. Since this celebration of Memphis’ world-changing musicians began in 2012, eighty-two Inductees have been honored.
